Our team is seeking a talented
Technical Proposal Writer
to work in our Reston, VA location.
What You'll Get to Do as a
Technical Proposal Writer
Work closely with clients, stakeholders, and other contract staff to gather content, develop written documentation, and collaborate with a team towards the successful completion of written contract deliverables.Author/create, edit, and proofread technical documentation, including but not limited to Systems Development Life Cycle/Systems Engineering Life Cycle (SDLC/SELC) and human resources information technology.Interview subject matter experts to extract pertinent information for document creation on a variety of subjects.Create documentation templates for end-users; populate templates with boilerplate language, relative content, and style tools (e.g., automated table of contents, style tools from Word, etc.).Maintain responsibility for the delivery of work products.Collaborate on the implementation of standardized processes and deliverables.You'll Bring These Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain a security clearance.BS degree with 8+ years of experience authoring, revising, and editing technical documentation8+ years of experience working with Federal Customers8+ years of experience with SharePointThe ability to summarize technical information using graphical and textual toolsExperience with the SDLC / SELC frameworkExtensive knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPointExcellent analytical and business presentation skills
