Up to $170,000 p/a + excellent benefitsForsyth Barnes have partnered with a Los Angeles based Consumer Goods brand on their search for a Director of PR and Communications. The business is a leader in their category, providing a diverse range of consumer products loved by consumers and sold globally, present across all top retail chains including Amazon, Walmart, and Target.This role will be responsible for establishing and leading communications and PR strategies for the brand, both internal and external, helping drive brand awareness growth and audience engagement.The ideal candidate will come from a CPG, Consumer Goods, or Lifestyle-focused brand and have strong experience in people management, internal and external communications strategies, and running Public Relations.Director of PR and Communications Responsibilities:
Public Relations - establish and lead the execution of PR strategy for the brand and associated campaigns including media and press.Develop and manage new PR strategies for the brand's new product launches, monitoring progress, goals, and KPIs.Corporate communications - aid in the execution and development of internal and external communication strategies including press releases, newsletters, and presentations.Increase visibility and ensure breakthrough CSR communications across relationships, blogs, and wider content strategies.Director of PR and Communications Requirements:
Experience within CPG, Consumer Goods, or Lifestyle focused brand.A track record of experience in communications and PR focused positions.Leadership and management: experience building, managing, and upskilling teams.Creativity: excellent storytelling, written & verbal communication skills.Brand management/voice - strong understanding of upholding and representing brand values.
