Who You Are
Our growing B2B software company is looking for a Vice President / Senior Director of Marketing to lead our demand generation efforts. The ideal candidate is an experienced B2B marketer who has a proven track record of creating and executing demand generation programs that scale marketing-sourced sales pipeline. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that generate leads, nurture prospects, and support the sales team to meet or exceed revenue targets.
What You’ll Bring to the Table
7-10+ years of B2B marketing experience, with a focus on demand generation, lead nurturing, and marketing spend optimizationA proven track record of cost-effectively growing B2B marketing-sourced pipeline, optimizing marketing investments, and partnering with sales to achieve company objectivesStrong experience with data-driven decision-making, including expertise in using analytics tools and methodologies to optimize marketing investments and maximize ROIStrong experience in managing marketing teams and agencies/vendorsExperience working with marketing automation and CRM systems (Salesforce & Marketo)Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B marketing strategy focused on demand generation, including account-based marketing (ABM), events and field marketing, content marketing, digital marketing, and coordinated outbound prospecting in collaboration with the business development teamCreate and manage lead nurturing programs that move leads from initial interest to "ready to talk to sales"In partnership with business development and sales, consistently diagnose the lead generation and pipeline development process to remove bottlenecks and prescribe changes to targeting, messaging, campaign execution and lead development tacticsEvaluate the effectiveness of marketing strategies to achieve a significant return on investment (ROI) and meet sales booking goals; establish a consistent reporting cadence to communicate results and drive improvementManage the marketing budget, allocating resources efficiently to achieve optimal results across different marketing initiatives and channelsLead and mentor a diverse and marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvementContinuously optimize marketing spend to maximize marketing-sourced sales pipeline and ROIWork closely with the sales team to align marketing programs with sales goals and provide them with the necessary tools and resources to close dealsDevelop and manage marketing budgets and track ROI of marketing programsEstablish and maintain strong relationships with external partners such as agencies, vendors, and industry associations
