Director of Product Marketing

Our client, a prestige skincare company, is hiring a Director of Product Marketing to join their team in Los Angeles on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office).Job Duties Include:Partner to help to craft product positioning that ensures product offering continues to innovateSupport briefing process for product launches with internal teams and external suppliersCollaborate to identify desired product claims and develop final product claimsPresent product marketing concepts, competitive analysis, and pricing recommendationsHelp define scope for potential new products using relevant benchmarks, competitive analysis, and data pointsCollaborate to ensure cohesive product expression, from copy to packaging executionPartner to create strategic product toolkits and training materials for new product launchesCreate decks, presentations, and sales materials for retailers to support new product introductionsLead the global promotional & kitting strategy including providing recommendations for sets, kits, and retail or eCommerce exclusivesAssist with setting pricing guidelines for new products that consider long term company objectivesDrive effectiveness of existing product SKUs including identifying opportunities for product franchises based on salesEvaluate competitive new products and present analyses to cross functional teamsLiaise with relevant teams to ensure all product details are globally compliantJob Qualifications Include:7+ years of relevant beauty industry experienceBachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, or other related field preferredDemonstrated background in product positioning, including ingredient storytellingExperience briefing product innovation conceptsExperience creating product education materials and/or go-to-market plans for a beauty brandSalary: $145k - $170k annually + bonus*While PCG appreciates all applicants, only those qualified will be contacted.
