Director of Product Marketing

Our client, a prestige skincare company, is hiring a Director of Product Marketing to join their team in Los Angeles on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office).

Job Duties Include:

• Partner to help to craft product positioning that ensures product offering continues to innovate
• Support briefing process for product launches with internal teams and external suppliers
• Collaborate to identify desired product claims and develop final product claims
• Present product marketing concepts, competitive analysis, and pricing recommendations
• Help define scope for potential new products using relevant benchmarks, competitive analysis, and data points
• Collaborate to ensure cohesive product expression, from copy to packaging execution
• Partner to create strategic product toolkits and training materials for new product launches
• Create decks, presentations, and sales materials for retailers to support new product introductions
• Lead the global promotional & kitting strategy including providing recommendations for sets, kits, and retail or eCommerce exclusives
• Assist with setting pricing guidelines for new products that consider long term company objectives
• Drive effectiveness of existing product SKUs including identifying opportunities for product franchises based on sales
• Evaluate competitive new products and present analyses to cross functional teams
• Liaise with relevant teams to ensure all product details are globally compliant

Job Qualifications Include:

• 7+ years of relevant beauty industry experience
• Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, or other related field preferred
• Demonstrated background in product positioning, including ingredient storytelling
• Experience briefing product innovation concepts
• Experience creating product education materials and/or go-to-market plans for a beauty brand

Salary: $145k - $170k annually + bonus
