Senior Manager of Product + Retail Marketing

RANAVAT, the leader in Ayurvedic beauty is searching for an enthusiastic Senior Manager of Product + Retail Marketing. You must be passionate, forward-thinking, and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate will work between NPD, Marketing and our retail partners on product innovatin, positioning and build out go to market strategies. This role has room to grow and opportunity for a Director Level Role depending on initial performance.
This role is in office (Westwood, LA). This role is in office, Monday- Thursday. Friday is work from home. Los Angeles based candidates only. All other metropolitan areas will NOT be considered.
RETAIL MARKETING
•Design, implement and amplify retail marketing strategy based on the global brand strategy to ensure local relevancy & cohesiveness with brand DNA
•Act as the key marketing contact for all global retail requests & lead monthly retailer calls (agenda, recap, etc)
•Spearhead retailer Market Week decks and retailer-specific paid strategies, while working alongside internal departments
•Lead retail launch strategy for new markets. Owning the onboarding, planning, and execution of new launches
•Lead pitching for retailer marketing exposures across channels
•Lead planning and strategy of wholesale mega-events
•Lead product website page management and digital asset updates, working closely with retailer for regular updates & timely execution
•Lead retailer PR seeding and events, track and share wholesale press exposure with retailers
•Partner with influencer on retail specific UGC asks
•Partner with sales and VM on fixture briefs
•Partner with Education & Field Directors to secure retailer trainings, store takeovers & masterclass opportunities
•Own all marketing presentations to field for new launches. Lead bi-weekly TBs to ensure ongoing flow of communication between field and corporate
•Gather and incorporate feedback and insights from the Field to drive brand awareness and optimize eventing (or event programs)
PRODUCT MARKETING
•Own wholesale strategy for all new product launches (in store activity, cast member engagement, email exposure, etc)
•Lead strategy for product review seedings of core and newness
•Partner with Brand Marketing on quarterly business recaps, reviewing a mix of business and product performance
•Own the development of all marketing collateral, disseminating to internal channels, retailers, and partner agencies
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
•Beauty experience highly recommended
•Lead with a mind-set to build, improve and optimize future activations
Job requirements
- 5-8+ years of retail marketing experience executing marketing campaigns with national beauty retailers for a personal care products brand (e.g. beauty, wellness, CPG), preferably with a d2c brand
- Strong understanding of the beauty industry
- Dynamic storyteller and communicator
- Experience managing specialty retailers internationally
- Effective people management skills to lead, develop and mentor direct report(s)
Ability to travel occasionally for retailer/company meetings
