Location: Boston (Hybrid - In office a few days a week)
Compensation: $150K-$180K Base Salary + Benefits.
I’m partnered with an innovative leader in the LIDAR and 3D sensing technology space, primarily focused on advancing applications in the automotive sector. We’re searching for a hands-on Marketing Director who can take full ownership of the marketing function and lead the charge on digital and in-person initiatives to drive brand visibility, engagement, and business growth.
As the Marketing Director, you will shape and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy, leveraging modern platforms and content creation methods to effectively position the company’s advanced tech solutions. This role is ideal for a proactive, versatile marketing professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable wearing many hats to achieve impactful results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy Development: Craft and implement a marketing strategy that positions the company as a leader in LIDAR and 3D sensing within automotive applications.
- Content & Digital Marketing: Utilize digital channels, including social media, websites, and video content, to engage target audiences and highlight product capabilities.
- Brand Building & Positioning: Establish a compelling brand presence in the industry through consistent messaging, storytelling, and creative visual content.
- Event and Conference Management: Identify, plan, and manage participation in relevant industry events, conferences, and trade shows to drive brand awareness and business development.
- Multi-Channel Campaigns: Lead integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, focusing on digital media, thought leadership, and product marketing.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, sales, and engineering teams to align marketing strategies with company goals and customer needs.
- Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitor activities to continuously adapt and improve marketing initiatives.
Requirements:
- Marketing Experience in Tech or Similar Industry: Proven experience in a marketing leadership role, ideally in tech, with a solid understanding of digital and content marketing strategies.
- Creative Visionary: We seek a true creative who can bring fresh, innovative ideas to life, crafting compelling campaigns that resonate with our audience and set us apart in the LIDAR and 3D sensing industry.
- Hands-on Digital Marketing Expertise: Strong proficiency in social media, website management, video production, and digital engagement tactics.
- Event Planning & Execution: Experience with managing and leveraging industry events and conferences to enhance brand presence and customer engagement.
- Strategic Vision & Initiative: Proactive and creative mindset with the ability to set direction, prioritize, and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage a variety of stakeholders.
Nice-to-Haves:
- 3D Sensing Experience: Knowledge or experience in 3D sensing technology or related products.
- Automotive Industry Background: Familiarity with automotive applications, particularly in advanced tech or autonomous vehicle components.
- Additional Tech or Engineering Insight: Background or understanding in related technology fields such as robotics, AI, or sensor technology.
