We are seeking an experienced Director of Marketing & Branding for our corporate office, developing and overseeing the marketing and branding of our four companies within the Valve, Flange and Fittings industry. This Director role is ideal for a senior-level marketing executive with a proven track record of leading overall brand and marketing strategy. It offers the opportunity to shape the brand’s transition from an acquisition-focused strategy to a brand loyalty focus, while working within a strong, values-driven culture that emphasizes collaboration, integrity, and growth.

This role will lead our Marketing & Branding and play a critical part in driving the company’s continued growth and long-term vision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a member of the executive leadership team, reporting directly to the President, and collaborate with other senior executives on business strategy and corporate goals.
  • Lead the planning, development, and execution of the overall brand strategy, ensuring alignment with both short-term business objectives and long-term brand vision.
  • Oversee all aspects of the brand at the executive leadership level, ensuring the brand's integrity and consistency across all functions within the organization. Act as the brand’s protector by ensuring that all activities align with the company’s values and reputation.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing communications strategies to support business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.
  • Drive thought leadership initiatives to position the company as an industry leader.
  • Oversee the management of external agencies and vendors to ensure timely and effective delivery of marketing materials.
  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Inspire and develop a forward-thinking, results-driven marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and excellence across consumer-facing and B2B channels, while directly partnering with other C-Suite executives to ensure cohesive strategy execution.
  • Drive data-driven marketing strategies and leverage insights to influence decision-making across the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of executive-level experience in brand and strategic marketing, within the manufacturing industry, with a strong preference for Valve, Flange & Fittings
  • Proven track record of executive leadership, managing directors and large cross-functional teams, while collaborating directly with C-suite peers.
  • Deep experience in leading multi-channel marketing campaigns, optimizing budgets, and driving measurable results across diverse consumer touchpoints.
  • Strong executive presence with the ability to influence key stakeholders across a matrixed organization, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling brands, launching new products, and expanding into new markets, with a strategic, growth-oriented mindset.
