As the Web Content Editor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, relevancy, and consistency of content across our web properties. This position will be responsible for the oversight, management, and optimization of web content to enhance the online presence and user experience. In this position, you will report to the Senior Web Content Editor.Minimum Education and ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Communications or a Liberal Arts field. Five to seven years of experience in journalistic or corporate communications. Microsoft Office Suite; expert written and oral communication skills.Preferred Education and ExperiencePreferred Qualifications :•Minimum of 3 years of experience in web content management, digital marketing, or similar roles.•Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and web accessibility standards.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities : Collaboration: Work closely with the Sr. Web Editor, content owners, stakeholders, and departments to maintain a collaborative and effective content management process.Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to maintain web content accuracy and integrity.Content Audit: Annually perform a content audit for Content Owners to review pages and make necessary edits.Monitoring Analytics: Utilize web analytics tools to evaluate the performance and effectiveness of web content, making data-driven recommendations for improvements. Pulling stats for review to analyze the webpages and improve the sites.Content Optimization & SEO Alignment: Strong SEO knowledge to incorporate keyword strategies and SEO best practices into web content, and to ensure web content is engaging, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines.Training: Train content owners and stakeholders on content management best practices, accessibility, and web content standards.Physical Demands and Working ConditionsPhysical ActivitiesWorking ConditionsAdditional InformationRemote Work NoticeA hybrid remote work schedule may be available (currently 1-day remote weekly).
