General Summary:
The Marketing & Trade Show Coordinator role demands a blend of creative marketing acumen, meticulous organizational skills, and seamless execution of trade show activities. This position requires a keen ability to create engaging and effective marketing campaigns that resonate with target audiences and a passion for trade show coordination.
The Marketing & Trade Show Coordinator will work closely with the Marketing & Communications Manager to develop and implement strategies that drive brand awareness, generate leads, and support business growth. This role will also work across all departments, outside stakeholders and administration.
Responsibilities:
Marketing Campaign Planning:
- Collaborates with the marketing team to develop and execute comprehensive marketing campaigns that align with business objectives and target audience preferences.
- Creates marketing materials and collateral for email marketing, social media, and other channels.
- Coordinates and implements comprehensive digital marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and drive sales.
- Works with Director and Communications Manager to develop KPIs and strategic objectives for digital audience.
Graphic Design:
- Creates high-quality graphic designs for various marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, print and digital ads.
- Develops and maintains brand guidelines and ensures consistency across all marketing materials.
- Utilizes design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) to produce visually appealing designs.
Trade Show Coordination:
- Provides in-house support for all trade show activities by:
- Organizing, packing and shipping trade show materials.
- Coordinating travel, personnel registration, vendors & other logistics.
- Develops event marketing materials & promotional campaigns.
- Assists with budget tracking, payments, invoices, and expenses.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of marketing strategies and practices
- Strong graphic design skills; able to provide graphic design portfolio upon request
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (In Design, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Works well independently, as a team and in structured working environments
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously assuring timely completion
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field - preferred
- At least three years of experience in marketing in lieu of degree
Required Software Knowledge:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Adobe Creative Suite
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged sitting and working with computers (often)
- Exposure to warehouse environment (regularly)
- Exposure to extreme heat (rarely)
- Ability to lift 25lbs (sometimes)
