About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Vaccines Communications. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading the development and execution of U.S. and global communication strategies that support the company's vaccines portfolio and pipeline. This role requires the individual to maintain relationships with government, policy, and third-party healthcare organizations at various levels, and to collaborate with these groups to promote the discovery of innovative vaccines and enhance patient access to care. The Executive Director will also be responsible for creating and managing all communications related to the vaccine portfolio, including regulatory approvals, scientific data publications, and other business and reputation milestones.Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in communications and corporate affairs, with a preference for those with a background in healthcare and pharmaceuticals within a global, publicly-traded company. The role demands excellent written and oral communication skills across various mediums and the ability to engage with both U.S. and international audiences. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, experience in disease-awareness campaigns, and crisis management, and the ability to work effectively with senior executives. Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to bridge the gap between junior and senior employees are essential, as is the ability to ensure that all communication materials are in line with regulatory standards and internal processes.
