The Senior Vice President, Content Lead, will help deliver on the global external and internal content and thought leadership strategy for the company by executing on integrated content programs and campaigns across channels to increase awareness, consideration, and adoption of BNY's solutions, and drive brand equity and the firm’s industry leadership positioning. They will report to the Head of Communications, Content and Channels in our New York headquarters.In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:Execute on a strategic, external-facing content strategy for the newsroom of BNY, with the goal of boosting and strengthening brand awareness, as well as driving deeper, more strategic visibility about the breadth and scale of what BNY has to offer to clientsExecute on a strategic content strategy for the internal-facing enterprise My Source portalCollaborate with business leads, fellow communications colleagues and other business partners to create, edit and publish compelling thought leadership and other contentPartner with creative, video and social media teamsResponsible for securing relevant business stakeholder, legal and compliance approvals and keeping key stakeholders apprised of progress, with a strict focus on always adhering to compliance expectationsTo be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:Demonstrated track record of excellence in executing on an external content strategy for a large, highly regulated enterprise, inclusive of extensive experience collaborating with C-suite executivesDeep expertise and training in content creation and journalistic editing across multimedia formats, including all forms of written content, video creation and social media contentFinancial services content development experience is required; journalism training is a bonusExperienced in working in a highly matrixed, highly regulated environment, with the ability to manage a high volume of stakeholder feedbackExperienced in supporting and working closely with EC members in the development of compelling thought leadership contentHigh-functioning, highly proactive individual who can prioritize multiple demands and handle challenging situations that may require adapting to changing requirements on a projectOutstanding multi-audience editing, writing and oral communication skills, as well as excellent presentation skills10+ years of professional experience in corporate content strategy for a financial services firm or equivalentBachelor's degree required#LI-HybridAt BNY, our culture speaks for itself. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $119,000 and $221,000 per year at the commencement of employment.
