As the Director, Product Marketing - Creative, you will own developing go-to-market strategies that accelerate growth for our Creative offering.In this role, you will work closely with Product, Sales, Support, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure that clients and prospects alike understand the value of Creative in digital advertising helping to increase conversion rate, as well as product adoption and engagement. Your experience of analyzing product adoption and your understanding of the competitive landscape will allow you to build strategies that ensure the success of our clients as well as attract the attention of prospects. Your role will be global with ownership over go-to-market planning for key product launches and customer verticals.As a Director, Product Marketing - Creative you will...Be responsible for developing key go-to-market themes, defining new opportunities alongside our Product Managers and Commercial teams and in collaboration with our Training and Enablement teams to launch and scale our creative solutionsTake the lead on bringing our Creative offering to market and be responsible for creating compelling messaging, positioning and closely collaborating with our Sales Enablement lead to train our commercial team on how to sell our creative toolsRepresent and analyze advertiser needs, the rapidly evolving ad eco-system and competitive landscape to inform product decisions, positioning and go-to-market plansCome with fresh ideas and be comfortable thinking in the abstract and about the future of Smartly in new waysConduct product marketing data analysis, with the support of the Marketing Science team, by gathering and interpreting data, and presenting it in a clear and actionable manner.Identify success metrics and proactively measure the results of your strategies and initiatives to continuously iterate and maximize results.Communicate new product features and updates to internal teams ensuring they have the information needed to capitalize on the releaseEstablish a clear understanding of our clients' needs, product offerings, and competitive landscape in order to ensure product strategies align with market demand.Research our clients and prospects and gather their feedback through calls, emails, review support tickets, surveys, review product adoption data, run competitive analysis to become an expert in their pain points and how to speak to them.Own competitor research in your area and educate others in the company on their differentiators and how to market against themWhat we are looking for...10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, Preferred experience in the advertising technology space either in creative technology or mediaPassionate storyteller with a proven ability to create messaging and narratives that stand out in the marketProven track record executing product marketing strategies, building GTM plans and positioning that had impactful resultsAnalytical approach to decide which opportunities to pursue and the project management skills required to oversee key cross-functional initiativesOutstanding communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to move fluently between details and the big pictureTrack record of executing successful go-to-market strategies, including developing pricing and packaging strategies and understanding the market opportunityExceptional project management and collaboration skills in a high-paced, cross-functional, global environmentPerks & Benefits...Five weeks paid time off (PTO), 11 company paid holidays, unlimited sick daysGenerous healthcare packages & mental health benefitsMonthly wellness benefit and learning reimbursement opportunities401K plus matching & equity grants for all new SmartliesVolunteer time off days & company donation matching opportunitiesChoice of computer (MAC or PC)And so much more...The base pay range for this position is as mentioned below per year, plus annual bonus. We take into consideration an individual's background, expertise, and experience in determining final salary.
