We are looking for an experienced Design Consultant to join our team to support our Innovative Environments (IE) brand with Sabre Group. This role is responsible for acquiring and retaining long-term, quality clients through the execution of our orchestrated sales process, and providing products, services, and information that our customers will perceive as emotionally satisfying. This role helps Innovative Environments achieve its mission by being exceptionally good at all things within the client relationship and design process and providing consistent, measurable results within the areas listed below.Lead Generation / Pipeline Building (40%) Cultivate leads and represent the IE (Innovative Environment) brand to prospective customers.Serve as the IE service expert and help prospects understand the process and resources IE offers.Frequently set up one-on-one meetings, lunch and learns, and introduction meetings to potential customers. Review during these meetings who we are and what we do. (In-person and video conference)Serve as a brand ambassador for IE and identify ideal prospectsPrepare and deliver sales performance and pipeline reports to the Director of Corporate Interiors.Sales Consulting / Estimating Process (30%) Take a consultative approach to ensure the customer’s design and architectural drawings are replicated with extreme care, efficiency, and with accurate materials to result in an appealing and durable result.Study and review blueprints/plans and anticipate questions and analyze for any concerns.Troubleshoot and problem solving while working with the client during the quoting process.Collaborate with IE team members to ensure an optimal outcome.Lead the Bidding process – RFI, develop follow-up questions, meet deadline for questions, paperwork and forms that need to be completed, leading the collection and completion of forms and information needed to complete the bidding process.Provide budgetary proposalsClient Services (30%) Client Integration and Project Kick-Off Maintain relationships with current clients during open projects. Upon completion of the bidding process, the Design Consultant will hand off the customer to the Project Management team.Work collaboratively with the Project Manager, Estimator, Detailing/Art team and Fabrication team to communicate customer information, debrief the team, and provide introductions to key client representatives to ensure a smooth transition.Follow-up with the client and assist in the process of communicating new information to the customer.AIA Billing Invoice customers monthly in accordance with AIA/Progressive Billing principles.Adhere to accounting guidelines for deposits, review invoices for accuracy, and assist with collections, if necessary.CRM Updates Follow-up on open tasks to check on current customers. Record the client temperature and satisfaction level.Capture referrals and client testimonials.Competencies: Effective sales and negotiation skillsProficient and comfortable speaking in large groups and presenting material in an effective mannerSelf-starter and comfortable working in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to get results and resolve customer needs.Ability to investigate and find the root cause of issues and follow through with corrective actions.Proficient in Microsoft Office suitesCandidate Should Possess: Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or related field.At least 5 years’ experience working in commercial signage, interiors, and graphics.At least 5 years’ experience in business-to-business sales.Experience working with architects, design firms, general contractors, and interior design firms.Proficient with AIA Billing.Experience reading and understanding construction/architectural drawings.Advanced understanding of the fabrication process of signage material.What We Offer:We understand that our people are the most important factor to our success.
