Department Communication and Media Job Purpose
Adjunct faculty may instruct one or more courses in the area of Communication each semester as needed.
Essential Duties
Adjunct faculty are expected to teach a specified course(s); prepare course materials; provide support and guidance to students; and report grades.
Additional Skills Required Minimum Education Requirements
Required qualifications include a Master's Degree in Communication or related majors and/or relevant job experience.
Preferred Education
ABD or PhD in Communication or a related major.
Minimum Job Experience Requirements
Experience in the field is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous teaching experience and a willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.
