About the Role:

As the Marketing Associate at Gesture, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our marketing efforts and creating impactful content. Your responsibilities managing organic posts across all social media platforms, creating organic content conducting market research, and collaborating with our design and content teams to develop more engaging materials. If you have experience in B2B and B2C environments and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting, this is your chance to contribute to our mission.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the smooth operation of the Marketing department by managing administrative tasks.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities across B2B and B2C channels.
  • Analyze consumer behavior data (web traffic, rankings, and other metrics) to gather insights.
  • Generate reports on marketing and sales metrics, such as conversion rates and campaign performance.
  • Support the planning and execution of promotional events and campaigns (field marketing, trade shows, street campaigning).
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Design and Content teams to create advertising materials and digital content.
  • Maintain organized records of marketing metrics, past campaigns, and ROI data.
  • Produce reports forecasting sales and marketing performance.
  • Monitor competitor marketing activities and strategies.
  • Assist in developing and optimizing content for our blog, website, and newsletters.
  • Contribute to content planning, brainstorming sessions, and maintaining content calendars.
  • Support the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and email campaigns.
Requirements:
  • ***Must be able to commute to our NYC headquarters (located near Times Square- 42nd Street in Manhattan) for a full time role. This role does not support hybrid or remote work environments.***
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Marketing Associate, Marketing Assistant, or similar role, with exposure to B2B and B2C.
  • Familiarity with traditional marketing, digital marketing (email, social media, SEO/SEM), and brand management.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PPT.
  • Proficiency in Canva, Figma, Adobe Suite.
  • Proficiency in social media tool management Hootsuite, Sprout, Brandwatch or equivalent.
  • Knowledge in navigating GA4. Experience running paid ads and knowledge of app tracking and attribution such as Branch or AppsFlyer is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills.
  • Basic understanding of content creation and SEO best practices.
  • Ability to support marketing efforts across multiple areas, including:

    • Digital Marketing (social media, email marketing, paid ads)

Gesture is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range for this role is 60k-75k annual, in addition to commissions and bonuses. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
