Job Title: Creative AssistantReports to: Creative DirectorPosition Overview:The Creative Assistant will support the Creative Director in various creative and administrative tasks, contributing to the smooth execution of projects from concept through to final delivery. This role requires a blend of creative skills, organizational capabilities, and a proactive mindset to assist in both pre-production and post-production workflows, design coordination, content management, and day-to-day processes.Key Responsibilities:Photo & Video Editing:
Assist with light photo and video editing, including in-house editing of photoshoot material to reduce reliance on external photographers.Pre-Production Support:
Help with shot listing and other pre-production needs for shoots and campaigns.Onsite Support:
Provide general support to the Creative Director at photoshoots and on-site meetings, ensuring smooth execution of all creative and communications.Research:
Conduct research on platforms, tools, and creative imagery as needed.Meeting Assistance & Note Taking:
Participate in meetings, take detailed notes, and transcribe analog notes into digital formats for briefs.Team Communication:
Relay Creative Director's feedback, notes, and creative selects (image/video) to teams efficiently.Content Scheduling:
Assist with scheduling Instagram Grid and Story content to scheduling tools including Falcon and Google Sheets.Administrative Support:
Handle various administrative duties, including organizing schedules, maintaining communications, and assisting with design, content, and digital asset management.Cross-Team Coordination:
Create content and meet project deadlines by requesting necessary information and copy from other teams.Specialized Tasks:Photo Editing:
Act as the in-house photo editor for shoots, reducing the need for external photographer edits where applicable.Meme & Trending Content Strategy:
Support the development and creation of meme strategies and trending content for accounts.Skills and Qualifications:Basic proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.) and GSuite.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Creative thinking and a keen eye for detail.Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.Availability and eagerness to travel for onsite meetings and shoots.Interest in design, digital marketing, and social media.Bachelors degree in graphic design, marketing, communications, or a related field (often preferred but not always required).Experience in a creative or marketing role (internships or freelance work can be valuable).
