Creative Drafter and Marble Design Job at Rye Marble in Rye

Salary: $55k - $75k+. Annual depending on experience

We’re searching for a detail-oriented, imaginative CAD designer to serve as the primary drafter for our growing marble fabrication company! Your job responsibilities will include generating 2D and 3D designs using AutoCAD and nesting software we have in place. You’ll also revise designs based on client feedback and clearly communicate updates about the team’s design process. Responsibilities

• Utilize computer software to generate 2D and/or 3D designs, depending on the project specifications
• Get feedback from the client and construction managers and revise designs as needed
• Notify superintendents and project managers of the design’s progress and when the designs are complete

Qualifications

• Proficient in using architectural design software, such as AutoCAD, AutoDesk BIM, Solidworks, 3DS Max, Chief Architect Premier: Construction Drawings, SketchUp, and Lumion
• At least 2 years of experience in architectural design
• 2-year degree or equivalent experience in architecture, design, construction engineering, or related field is desired
• Possess a firm grasp on the industry as a whole and stay up-to-date on evolving trends in architectural technologies
• Have great attention to detail, with strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
