Broadcast SRE Job at Insight Global in New York

Insight Global is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join the Broadcast Production Engineering team for a major Media and Entertainment client in NYC. This role will be supporting broadcast related projects related to the Broadcast Production initiatives. This individual should be proficient in tools such as Excel, PPT, Smartsheets/Jira, and Data Dog. This person will utilize tools such as Jira and Smartsheet for project organization and documentation and must have clear communication. This candidate must have excellent communication to speak with key stakeholders and engineering teams, and proactive communication both written and verbal. This individual will be interfacing with stakeholders, vendors, and the internal engineers. This team supports a broadcast environment that includes: VizRT, Evertz, SMPTE 2110, Chyron/ross, Black Magic, SDI, Grass Valley, Comms RTS, Dante Audio, etc. Any previous broadcast or media experience is a plus. This individual must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to be onsite 5X a week onsite in Manhattan.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of experience as a Linux Admin/SRE in an enterprise environment
Previous experience building out project dashboards utilizing Data Dog
Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting utilizing jira, smartsheet, excel, powerpoint, etc.
Strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear business updates to stakeholders.
