What You Will Be Doing
As the Content Strategist, you will offer comprehensive reporting, composition, structure in content creating, and editing services for both external and internal communications, including pitches, RFPs, proposals and writing that accommodates the needs of firm leadership. A key requirement of this role is to excel in storytelling, ensuring that all content is not only informative but also engaging and compelling. You will play an important part in the creation and curation of captivating content for our target audience, engaging with internal stakeholders and ensuring materials are meticulously proofread and verified against facts, sometimes within stringent deadlines.
You will deliver exceptional service to both internal departments and external clients and vendors. This will be achieved by maintaining professionalism across all forms of communication, including electronic and print correspondence, telephone, video, and in-person interactions. Additionally, you will foster a positive and proactive work environment that celebrates a "can do" attitude.
About This RoleA self-motivated and elegant writer who respects the confidentiality and sensitivity of the firm's work. Collaborate with colleagues at all levels of seniority to develop new creative content with responsibility for overseeing quality control to ensure that all communications meet the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism.Collaborating with the Marketing Communication and Digital Marketing teams to track and analyze readership data.Continually raises the bar on creativity, helping write fresh copy that connects with the desired audience, drives action and is aligned with the firm's strategic goals and brand messaging. Contributes content for a broad range of materials including website and intranet copy, social media posts, pitches, RPFs and proposals, announcements, brochures, advertising copy, attorney bios, presentations and more. Supports the Public Relations team with their writing requirements, which include award entries, and provides the design team with textual content for marketing collateral when necessary.Ambassador of the firm's editorial style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging.Be acquainted with legal jargon and the skill to render legal prose into language that is easily understood by the general public.Stay informed about the firm's needs and target audiences. Utilize SEO best practices and understand the concept behind the content and how it can help achieve business goals.Be knowledgeable of trends through business/industry monitoring. Oversee and contribute to the creation of content in a variety of formats, including web and interactive content, and social media.Juggle multiple projects in a collaborative environment with a high-volume workload often requiring short turnaround times.Manage time and establish priorities for self, while maintaining flexibility to respond to changing demands.Required Skills

Exhibit exceptional skills in writing and revising content. Precision is paramount-you must be able to verify information with various sources and assume the responsibility of delivering content that is error-free and factually accurate.Experience working with a team of writers, writing and editing digital content, adhering to a writing style guide.Critical thinker with excellent interpersonal, written and organizational skills. The capability to conceptualize both strategically and systematically.Ability to work independently, clearly articulate recommendations, demonstrate good judgement, take initiative, prioritize and meet deadlines.Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to project lead.Strong attention to detail-proofing copy and checking for technical functionality and style consistency.Required Experience
7+ years of writing experience. Journalism background a plus.Professional services experience is strongly preferred.Education
