Together, we’ll continue to create and deliver content that reflects the current and ever-changing face of the world.Job Description KTDO Telemundo is looking for a Manager of Creative Services to take a leading role in creating, planning, and executing marketing/branding/promotional/sales initiatives for the El Paso, TX station. The ideal candidate will directly work with and report to the President/General Manager.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESCreate, produce, edit, and execute exceptional marketing/branding/promotional campaigns that will serve as the foundation for the overall image of the station.Develop a communication and operational systematic workflow within the station.Locally produce, communicate, and oversee marketing strategies, plans, and initiatives.Create and coordinate local station campaigns, local news events and specials, Station Group efforts and Network initiatives.Serve as the communication liaison between all departments within the station, Network, and the Station group regarding all aspects of KTDO Telemundo 48 local marketing initiatives.Create, produce, and execute result-driven promotional tactics and campaigns specifically tailored to grow audience share. These tactics include publicity stunts, grassroots events, relationships with community leaders, internal synergies, product placement and media partnerships.Plan, coordinate, and attend local marketing events.Assist local national/local sales teams to develop and strengthen sponsorship opportunities (NTR) and strategic sales initiatives.Work closely with GM, research director, News Director, and Sales Manager to facilitate relevant market information to create exceptional marketing strategies that align with station initiatives.Develop and distribute key creative collateral and material for “out-of-home” branding and marketing campaigns.Work with Finance teams to steward budgets for individual marketing initiatives (Media buys, trades, campaigns, premiums, etc.).Establish, manage, and grow relationships/partnerships with local vendors to maximize ROI concerning paid/barter with other media streams.Present marketing plans, ideas, suggestions, and key marketing initiatives internally and externally to other business leaders, Network, and Sr. Leadership.Work continuously with the News department to align promotional strategies, conceptualization, and content opportunities to expand viewership.Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in marketing or similar fieldMinimum 5 years experience in Marketing rolesStrong understanding of consumer marketingWorking knowledge of media buying and strategiesStrong understanding of US Hispanic and/or Multicultural/Ethnic consumersExperience with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and PhotoshopProficient in SpanishShows leadership qualities in executing a project to fruition.Ability to work efficiently and prioritize to meet deadlines and budgets.Highly organized with strong attention to detailExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a collaborative team.Excellent driving record and active driver’s licenseELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTSInterested candidates must submit a resume/CV through nbcunicareers.com to be considered.Must be willing to work at the El Paso, TX station.Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.Must be 18 years or older and covered by Solutions, NBCU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Program.Must have a flexible schedule and be willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.Must be hands-on.Must be willing to travel.Must be fluent in Spanish (speak, read & write) .Must be able to provide a reel/portfolio of work examples; if available, include a web address when you submit your resume (if applicable).Additional Information As part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with an NBCUniversal employee at one of our locations prior to a hiring decision.NBCUniversal's policy is to provide equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees without regard to race, color, religion, creed, gender, gender identity or expression, age, national origin or ancestry, citizenship, disability, sexual orientation, marital status, pregnancy, veteran status, membership in the uniformed services, genetic information, or any other basis protected by applicable law.If you are a qualified individual with a disability or a disabled veteran, you have the right to request a reasonable accommodation if you are unable or limited in your ability to use or access nbcunicareers.com as a result of your disability.
