SECU is seeking a Digital Content Manager.
A day in your life might include:
- Conduct SEO and Keyword Research to increase web traffic and engagement.
- Ensure brand consistency and compliance with brand guidelines and voice across all content deliverables.
- Research member behavior data and competitors’ strategies.
- Produce and continually optimize:
- Website content across all sites (secumd.org, secumdfoundation.org, secufinancial.org, secumd.org/virtual-center, and secukindness.org), working directly in WordPress to complete updates.
- Paid Ad messaging
- Paid Social messaging
- Digital Communications including Email, Online and Mobile Banking, and SMS channels
- Blogs
- Infographics
- Conduct in-depth research on industry topics and trends to craft compelling content:
- Distill complex financial concepts and language into content that is easily understood.
- Identify gaps and recommend new topics.
- Contribute to overarching editorial calendar.
- Plan, create, test, and analyze content to attract and engage new members.
- Collaborate with Marketing to produce high-quality content to promote products or services in partnership with Product Managers or Business Line Leaders.
- Develop and orchestrate content strategies based on business goals and track growth.
- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, such as website traffic, engagement rates and conversions, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends and evolving content formats to enhance content marketing initiatives continually.
What we need from you:
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or relevant field
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience working in a similar position
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Strong ability to learn and understand target audience interests, behaviors, and content consumption patterns
- Technical Proficiency with
- WordPress (required) and other Content Management Systems
- Web Publishing
- SEO and Web Analytics
- Microsoft Office suite
- HubSpot (preferred)
- Strong business acumen
- Strong organization skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks
- Ability to work independently with a strong sense of self-accountability
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Takes personal responsibility for decisions, actions, failures and overall deliverables.
- Utilizes oral and written communication to enhance relationships across the organization.
- Clearly communicates information, thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise and organized manner.

Compensation Information: Offers will be commensurate with experience and education. Please Note: We typically hire at or below mid-point, which is $115,100 for this role.
- Salary: Min. $88,500 – Max. $141,700
