About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Global Technology Stewardship and Communications. This role is pivotal in the execution and oversight of key functions and projects that are essential to the operation of the global technology function. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and communication of global technology strategy, as well as the monitoring and reporting of technology performance and value. They will also act as a strategic partner, providing industry expertise, and ensuring that the technology strategy is aligned with the company's overall objectives and key trends in the insurance and technology industries.Candidates for this role at The Company should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a preference for a Master's degree and/or LOMA certification. A minimum of 10 years' relevant technology and business experience is required, including 5-7 years in a technology leadership capacity. The role demands a subject matter expert in executive communications, stakeholder alignment, and the ability to translate technical concepts into business language. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in people management, engagement, and the ability to lead through influence. Experience in a fast-paced technology, financial services, or insurance environment, as well as a background in process improvement methodologies, is highly valued. The Executive Director will be expected to have excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
