Position Summary
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Head of Marketing will be responsible for developing a cohesive strategic marketing vision and execution plan to drive brand awareness, voice, reach, relevance, and impact to achieve AccuWeather's objectives of growth, profitability, and visibility globally.
The Head of Marketing will oversee all marketing activities including advertising and promotional campaigns, website management, branding strategies, public relations, event marketing, social media, and CRM programs. This role will collaborate with members of the Executive Team and develop consistent messaging to enhance sales effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Develop cohesive marketing strategies for US and international execution across various channels.Partner with the Business Development team to build growth platforms based on user insights and data.Leverage marketing mix to drive customer acquisition and retention.Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive successful new product launches.Improve marketing programs to support critical partnerships.Enhance the presence of Executives through content marketing and thought leadership strategies.Identify trends and innovations in marketing.Manage vendors and coordinate with internal staff functions.Develop plans for international expansion and growth.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field; MBA preferred.Experience in growing a brand and maximizing revenue.Strong creative insight and leadership abilities.Proven ability to influence executives.Hands-on leader with attention to detail.Deep understanding of Digital Media.Experience in building high-performing teams.Demonstrated ability to implement strategic vision.Experience with analytics and market research.Strong communication skills, both oral and written.Experience in PR and managing outside Agencies of Record is beneficial.
Pay Transparency:
State College, PA:
$200,000 - $210,000 + annual bonus opportunity
New York, NY:
$245,000 - $255,000 + annual bonus opportunity
