Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.Primary ResponsibilitiesThis role will focus on marketing leadership and content delivery for HDR's Tech, Media & Telecom (TMT) Market Sector. The primary geographic focus for the hire will be North America, however the role will be global and require regular coordination across HDR's major regions: AMER, EMEA and APAC.The role will report to the TMT Global Market Sector Director and coordinates closely with the sector's senior leadership. The role will also work closely with local Client Development Leaders (CDLs), Client Managers (CMs) and Areas Business Group Managers (BGMs) as it relates to proposal production, marketing collateral, financial tracking, event/activity coordination and administrative support. Other responsibilities include providing marketing leadership that supports the goals and objectives of the sector and overall business group strategies and vision to include producing qualification statements proposals and interview materials as well as facilitating strategy discussions, driving communication, creative direction and executing on key initiatives and priorities to competitively position HDR in the market.Specific Responsibilities:Actively participate in driving forward the TMT Sectors strategic business development plan with a leadership role in proposal development, content and collateral creation, marketing campaign implementation, internal communications and client and account management.Support the sectors strategic initiatives effort including brand awareness, IDE, market research, events, long-term planning, partnerships, etc.Assist sector leadership in the coordination and analysis of new markets, clients and project-specific research.Actively manage select market sector-led proposal and presentation process from start to finish consistently applying marketing best practices, including design, writing, editing, layout and production and engaging appropriate marketing resources to support these pursuits.Track upcoming contracts/projects. Work closely with the pursuit leadership to develop a winning strategy.Track, monitor and disseminate sector financial performance in terms of bookings, earnings, profit, marketing costs, client investments/ROI, and related trends.Actively partner with CDLs on capture planning and client development plan meetings and activities.Facilitate strategy sessions within the sector in coordination with CDLs and marketing leadership (for pursuits, planning and initiatives) to help drive innovation, best practices, and new opportunities for sector growth.Partner with practice leadership to prepare company-wide sector qualifications and marketing collateral materials in alignment with the sector's strategic plan and vision.Work with CDLs and CMs to drive client development planning for select Tier 1 and 2 plans as approved by the sector director.Provide support in reviewing proposal documents during team reviews to ensure application of brand, sector strategy, and marketing best practices.Serve as core team member in managing the sector strategic planning process. Represent HDR and the sector externally to clients and teaming partners in support of the strategic business development initiatives, as needed.Partner with the business group communications team to develop and promote sector communication and messaging of key wins, key hires, accomplishments and other important events and deliverables.Actively participate in designated sector meetings and strategy sessions to ensure understanding of the sector's objectives, strategy and vision. This includes partnership with the business group communications team in the execution of action items identified during strategy sessions related to campaigns and initiatives.Actively participate in marketing workload and communications meetings. Provide forward-thinking concepts that assist in the continuous development of the marketing and communications programs.Preferred QualificationsExperienced with marketing support for private clients a plusExperienced with Fortune 500 Tech companiesRequired QualificationsA minimum of 5 years relevant industry experienceDemonstrated "self-starter" with a history of completing projects with limited oversightDeep knowledge of the A/E/C industry's standard approach to procurement of professional servicesExperience in sales and developing effective win strategiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPointProficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesignDemonstrated experience in winning high-value contracts in the A/E/C industryDemonstrated experience in writing compelling content based on information from technical staffWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
