Our team includes product designers, motion designers, user researchers, and content designers.About the Role:As a Staff Product Designer on our Core Native team, you'll lead the strategy and execution on our core native app study experiences - deeply understanding student needs, shaping product strategy, and designing rich, interactive experiences for the 60M+ users who use Quizlet every month.You'll drive discovery in complex problem spaces, establish frameworks for native design excellence, and foster strong partnerships across Product and Engineering teams to ensure that these experiences are useful, usable, and delightful.This is a

Lead the discovery and solution of highly ambiguous problem spaces within our native experiencesDrive end-to-end product design from strategy to execution across our iOS and Android appsUse quantitative and qualitative insights to inform your designs, iterate rapidly, and optimize experiencesChampion our design system's evolution and adoption across native platformsMentor designers and cross-functional partners on native design patterns and best practicesBuild strong relationships with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap and technical decisionsCreate extensible user insights through design processes and cross-functional collaborationSet and uphold quality standards for interaction, visual, and motion design across mobile experiencesUse presentation and storytelling skills to get feedback, explain your designs, and get people excited about themPush yourself and the team to raise the design bar at Quizlet through a culture of curiosity, feedback, and open communicationWhat you bring to the table:

8+ years of experience designing consumer applications with deep expertise in native mobile designProven track record of leading complex, ambiguous projects from discovery to deliveryExpert-level craft in UI, interaction design, and prototyping for native appsStrong analytical skills with experience using data to inform design decisionsVery effective communication skills (oral, written, and visual)Experience mentoring others and elevating team-wide design qualityExperience building and scaling design systems across platformsTrack record of identifying and driving process improvementsAbility to balance user needs with business objectivesStrong proactive hustleA humble attitude and a growth mindsetExcitement about the impact your work could have on the lives of students around the worldBonus points if you have:
