Overview:Design a wide variety of tooling using AutoCAD 2d and AutoDESK Inventor 3D.
Position Responsibilities:Perform and validate calculations used in the process of designing toolsetsDevelop models and drawings used in toolset designMaintain documentation pertaining to each toolset designMaintain drawing/design standards for toolsetsCheck the designs of peersWork with technicians to troubleshoot toolset designs and identify improvements
Requirements:An associate’s degree in mechanical design or a related discipline is highly preferred1+ years of drafting/designing experienceProficiency with 2D CAD software, preferably AutoCADProficiency with solid modeling software, preferably Autodesk InventorFamiliar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field ofmechanical design.Proficiency with Microsoft Office
