The Creative Director will lead the vision and execution of high-impact, cross-channel campaigns for pharmaceutical clients. This senior role is ideal for a strategic and conceptual leader who can work across digital, print, social, and video platforms to deliver engaging, compliant, and scientifically accurate content. As the Creative Director, you'll lead a multidisciplinary team, work closely with account and strategy teams, and drive creative excellence that makes a difference for healthcare professionals and patients alike.Responsibilities:Creative Leadership:
Guide and inspire a team of designers, art directors, writers, and other creative professionals. Ensure that creative concepts and execution are fresh, innovative, and align with client brand strategies.
Concept Development:
Lead brainstorming and concepting sessions to develop compelling, original ideas for integrated campaigns that resonate with target audiences, including healthcare professionals, patients, and caregivers.
Client Collaboration:
Work directly with clients to understand their needs, present creative concepts, and communicate the rationale behind creative decisions.
Cross-Channel Campaign Oversight:
Oversee the creation and execution of assets across various media, including digital, social, print, and video, ensuring consistency in messaging, look, and feel.
Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
Partner with medical, legal, and regulatory teams to ensure that all creative work adheres to relevant guidelines and accurately reflects the science behind pharmaceutical products.
Team Development:
Mentor and develop junior and mid-level creative talent, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.
Project Management:
Collaborate with project managers and account teams to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of projects.
Requirements:Experience:
10+ years of experience in a creative role, preferably in pharma or healthcare advertising, with a proven track record of successful campaign development and execution. Prior experience as an Art Director or Copywriter is highly desirable.
Leadership Skills:
Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, and inspiring creative teams.
Industry Knowledge:
Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry's regulatory environment, including MLR (Medical, Legal, Regulatory) processes and guidelines.
Creative Excellence:
Strong portfolio showcasing creative vision, storytelling ability, and successful cross-channel campaigns.
Communication:
Exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate creative concepts to both internal teams and clients.
Collaboration:
Ability to work effectively across multiple departments, including account, strategy, and production.
Preferred Qualifications:Experience with high science or rare disease products.Familiarity with digital and social media trends in healthcare.Background in art direction, design, or copywriting.
