As a Product Designer on our travel team, you will collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineers, QA, UX Researchers, Brand Designers, and fellow Product Designers in a fast-paced, agile environment where everyone is committed to the success of our products, business, and people.About the roleThis Product Designer will play a key role in designing and building engaging and intuitive experiences for our Travel customers. You’ll be part of the broader product design team working across multiple verticals, connecting Travel experiences within the overall product ecosystem. You will leverage data and user insights to deeply understand user needs and apply those insights to designs that deliver clear, measurable value to both our customers and the business. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional partners and designers to craft end-to-end experiences across responsive mobile and desktop apps, while identifying new usability and business opportunities to drive innovation and enhance the overall user journey, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of the business.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional partners, including product managers, engineers, brand designers, data analysts, and other product designers, to craft end-to-end experiences that engage customers and enhance conversion and key metrics.Collaborate closely within the Travel product teams to discover, define, and deliver business-driven and user-centric designs that drive measurable value for both users and the business.Leverage competitive analysis, UXR insights, and data analytics to build strong perspectives that guide your work and identify opportunities to enhance the travel experience within the overall product ecosystem.Use Figma to create and iterate on designs and prototypes for design critiques, stakeholder alignment, customer insight gathering, and engineering handoffs.Utilize our design system to ensure consistency, enhance design and engineering efficiency, and maintain brand guidelines.Collaborate with UX research and data analytics teams to gather the necessary data for informed decision-making.Hard Requirements3-5 years of product design experience, collaborating with product and engineering teams to take ideas from conception to execution across responsive web and native mobile apps.Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.Experience working on “0-1” consumer products in a fast-paced startup environment with strong adaptability in rapidly changing environments.Experience leveraging competitor analysis, user research, and quantitative data to inform design decisions.Strong proficiency in Figma (our primary tool), including auto layout, prototyping, and design systems, as well as other tools like FigJam, Notion, Jira, and Confluence.You care about business objectives, implications, and the impact of your designs. You balance craft and speed with driving business impact.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment requiring fast delivery.Proactive self-starter with strong communication and collaboration skills, able to take ownership and work independently with minimal supervision.Soft RequirementsExperience in an agency or startup, with proven adaptability to shifting priorities and tight deadlines.Experience with products in the travel space such as hotels, flights, car rentals.Experience working with and analyzing data to inform design decisions.Compensation$90,000 - $150,000 a yearAs part of our compensation philosophy at Super.com, we benchmark roles based on geographic location. The base salary range for this position (San Francisco) is
$90,000 USD - $150,000 USD .
