Full Position DescriptionAll Saints’ is a large, progressive church located in the heart of Atlanta that draws its membership from across the metro area. We seek a Director of Communications who will be excited to join a talented and highly collegial staff of 30. At All Saints’ we value a sustainable and flexible approach to working life and seek to support the lives of our staff at work and at home. This position requires work on site Monday-Wednesday and on Sunday mornings. Thursdays are available for work from home and Fridays and Saturdays are days-off.
The Director of Communications oversees all of the church’s internal and external communications including five social media accounts, the church’s website, two weekly e-news and occasional one-off e-communications, six print publications per year, video and podcast creation, and a limited amount of external marketing. While prior experience working in a church or non-profit setting is not required, successful candidates will demonstrate an ability to work with staff colleagues and church volunteers alike with grace and good humor.
Annual salary will be $75,000. Healthcare, dental, life insurance, disability insurance, and pension benefits will also be provided as per denominational standards. Professional development funds and time to pursue such opportunities will be provided.
