A Hybrid working model
Now offices are fully open we have embraced a hybrid working model, which allows our employees to split their time between the office and other locations, something we hope will provide everyone much more flexibility to their working week. Role summary:
The Hogarth Worldwide team is looking for a Senior Graphic Production Artist with expertise in Photoshop for website production. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the interactive space and its production requirements including resolution and outputs. In addition, candidates must be detail-oriented, comfortable working with multiple servers, organized, undaunted by working under tight deadlines, and have a keen eye for image quality.
Key responsibilities:
- Update product imagery and UI elements in Photoshop comps, and output web graphics
- Structure Photoshop comps to optimize efficient production and localization workflows using slices, smart objects, and layer comps
- Review final deliverables with an exacting eye, ensuring that layout, images, text, and links are flawless
- Track and check-in web graphics and visual assets using a version control system
- Ensure project deadlines are met and with accurate file handoffs for localization
- Support training of newer team members
Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in a hands-on, high-volume web or HTML email design and publishing environment (or equivalent)
- Photoshop expertise, particularly setting up files for web production and adhering to graphic design standards
- Excellent design and typography sensibilities applicable to web pages and HTML email
- Familiarity with Sketch and GiT
- Solid standards-based HTML, CSS, and general web publishing knowledge
- Highly detail oriented, with a drive for perfection down to the last pixel
- Thrives in a challenging, fast-paced web publishing workplace
- Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Establishes rapport and collaborates easily with designers and web developers
- Able to adhere to a consistent graphic production and checkin process, while also identifying opportunities for improvement
- Resourceful, adaptable, creative, and results-oriented with high energy and a positive attitude
