Senior Product Designer
myKaarma, New York, New York, United States,
Company Overview:At myKaarma, we are a leading provider of Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms tailored for the automotive dealership industry. Headquartered in Long Beach, CA, our innovative, end-to-end platform enhances customer interactions and optimizes workflow processes for franchise dealership service lanes. Our integrated suite includes scheduling, communication, and payment tools designed to streamline operations and deliver frictionless experiences to both dealerships and vehicle owners. myKaarma is committed to challenging the status quo and constantly evolving to meet the ever-changing needs of the automotive sector.
Our core product that was originally designed 10 years ago is being redesigned. What steps would you take to ensure that it is a successful redesign??To ensure a successful redesign of our product, I would begin by employing the Genchi Genbutsu principle, visiting dealerships to observe and understand firsthand how end-users interact with our software. Next, I'd create detailed journey maps to identify user pain points and thoroughly analyze existing user experiences. Alongside this, I would review application usage data to pinpoint critical areas for improvement. Developing wireframes and mockups would follow, providing visual proposals that address the issues identified and align with myKaarma's customer experience goals. Finally, I would continuously monitor the redesigned product post-launch, iterating based on user feedback and usage data to refine and improve the product continually. This comprehensive approach ensures the redesign is deeply informed by direct user insights and is aligned with strategic business objectives.
