Position: Studio Manager

A PLAYDAY Studio Manager oversees our working artists at their location to ensure it’s performing effectively. Managers are expected to be professional, reliable, positive, and creative role models for the children and families in attendance.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor the studio's operations and manage the staff's performance and duties.
- Process client accounts, maintain studio resources, and create marketing campaigns to promote the business.
- Maintain knowledge of their locations’ budget, sales, and spending.
- Keep the studio space clean, organized, and safe.
- Handle emails and phone calls.
- Oversee and manage pick up from local schools.
- Manage marketing for their local area, social media, creative ideas and plans.
- Maintain personal connections and communication with families.
- Organize and design creative birthdays for children ages 2-10yrs.
- Perform duties as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- All PLAYDAY staff is required to have a degree in the ARTS from an accredited College or
Our employees have a passion for mentoring and motivating children along with a
love for sharing relevant art history and modern techniques. - A minimum of 1 year of experience in a managerial position.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children.
About PLAYDAY:
Open seven days a week, PLAYDAY provides indoor and outdoor Grown Up & Me Art & Music
classes for children 1-4 as well as After School creative programming, Creative Camp, and
customized birthday parties for ages 5-12 in a safe small group studio environment with highly
educated and experienced instructors.
We are in partnership with multiple progressive, pre-schools, and middle schools where our
highly talented staff also instructs everything from Painting and Textiles to Cartooning and
Architecture.
