Like the look of this opportunity Make sure to apply fast, as a high volume of applications is expected Scroll down to read the complete job description.Requisition #:645198Location:Sibley Memorial Hospital, Washington, DC 20016Category:Non-Clinical ProfessionalSchedule:Evening Shift The telecommunications assistant is responsible for operating all communications/answering service equipment at Sibley Memorial Hospital.Work Location: Washington, D.C.PRN Evening Shift, 2:30pm-11pmCandidate will mainly work evening shifts but must be flexible and able to work varied shifts, including weeknights & weekends (Saturday & Sunday). Shifts are based on the needs of the department.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:Must be able to speak clearly and distinctly.Must be able to type 30 words per minute and have good grammar.Displays good judgment and diplomacy in dealing with all customers.Must be able to express oneself clearly both verbally and in writing.High School graduate preferred or equivalent training and experience.One year of experience as a hospital and or answering service operator preferred.Salary Range: Minimum 20.00 per hour - Maximum 20.00 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.JHM prioritizes the health and well-being of every employee.
