Communications Co-Op
at our office in the
Seaport District
of
Boston, MA. This position is from January-June 2025.*A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams' weekly schedule.What You'll Brew:
Support the Boston Beer Company communications team including external, internal and consumer communicationsManage the day-to-day responses to drinker contacts across all brands using CRM systemAnswer consumer inquiries by email promptly and thoroughly in a friendly and courteous mannerWrite and maintain brand messaging for drinker-facing communicationsAssist in regular data mining and brand insights reportingPrepare and send mailers to media and drinkers including but not limited to: product samples, refund checks, swag, etc.Build media lists, editorial calendars, pitch materials, research backgrounders, and provide general PR support for brand leadsAttend team, department and cross-functional meetings for exposure to other areas of the business and stretch opportunities as desiredWhat Ingredients You'll Bring:
Minimum QualificationsMust be currently enrolled in Bachelor's Degree programValid Social Security Number needed by first day of employmentMust be able to commute daily to the Boston Design Center in the Seaport District of Boston, MA.Preferred QualificationsCourse work and interest in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or similarWorking knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerBI, PowerPoint, and OutlookCandidate must be confident, collaborative, solutions-oriented and a self-starter who is an adept multi-tasker with the ability to prioritize effectivelyStrong written and verbal communication skillsPrior professional experience is required, preferably with some customer service experienceSound judgment and risk assessment skillsGood team player; you will interact with many people in the company and we are the voice of the company.A willingness to learn about Boston Beer Company products and historySome Perks: When candidates join Boston Beer's Early Talent Program, Brew Your Future, our early talent coworkers are empowered with impactful projects and learning sessions that contribute to real business outcomes, in addition to an inclusive, welcoming experience.
