Job Description
A/V Integration company seeks a technician level III with (4) years minimum commercial low-voltage experience.
Candidates should have experience with structural mounting of equipment as well as experience with pulling and terminating AV and IT cabling including the ability to solder or crimp connections.
Job requirements include:
- Lifting, moving, and transporting equipment up to 75lbs, sometimes overhead
- Work on ladders and occasional work on lifts to heights of 20+ feet
- A clean driving record and reliable transportation
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- The ability to read and understand CAD layouts
- Ability to lead and manage a team
- Must own basic tools
A background check is mandatory as a condition of employment.
Preferred candidates will have the following:
5+ years of experience, Infocomm CTS certification, and/or a technical degree, advanced computer skills, configuring/troubleshooting experience with hardware including audio-DSP, A/V control, video and audio devices, and USB based software applications. Preferred candidates should have experience with some or all of the following major brands including Crestron, Extron, AMX, Shure, Biamp, and QSC.
