We are in search of an experienced AV Engineer who will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, set up, and troubleshooting of Audio Visual and Video Conferencing systems (this will include digital projects and systems as well).
This individual will support various levels of management, including SVP and C Suite individuals, with conferencing, meetings and events as needed so a high level of support and professionalism is a must.
Additional duties below:
- Assist with setup and operation of AV and VC systems and provide support for all applicable VC services.
- Perform daily VC room checks to ensure all AV and VC systems are operational.
- Complete Preventative Maintenance visits to ensure all conference rooms and systems are operating in an optimum fashion.
- Provide basic instruction on the operation of A/V equipment to end users and provide professional, effective, AV support to various levels of management as needed.
- Provide operational support for meetings and events as required including setting up and operating and recording if needed.
- Receive and handle requests for AV support following agreed procedures.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues with AV/VC equipment and video networks.
- Set up, operate, and maintain AV equipment used to support live events, such as microphones, video cameras, projection systems, video controllers and sound mixing equipment.
- Troubleshoot system issues to determine and find resolutions or appropriate usage.
Required experience and proficiency:
- Bachelor's Degree in IT or technical field highly preferred
- 3-5 years of industry experience in client-facing technical support role.
- Knowledge of audio/visual (A/V) control systems and components a must.
- Experience providing technical support for: Video Conferencing, Video Walls; Digital Signage, Crestron, Cisco DX-80, Cisco Room Navigator, Cisco Spark boards, Cisco WebEx and Teams integration with VC endpoints and Microsoft Teams.
- Highly proficient in the operation and troubleshooting of AV/VC systems including control system, VC codecs (soft/hard), displays, cameras, microphones, etc. in all conference rooms and AV capable offices.
- Proficient in removing and installing audio visual equipment and video conference codecs for repairs.
- Excellent presentation, communication and high level of professionalism is a must.
Work Hours:
- Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM, however, some hours may vary depending on business needs and events so ability to work flexible hours is required.
