As a
Researcher II , you will play a key role in
crafting exceptional player experiences on PC and console.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, producers, and engineers, to collect and analyze player feedback through surveys and player labs. If you're someone who thrives on gathering actionable insights, leveraging data to tell compelling stories, and collaborating with passionate teams, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:Player Experience Research:
Partner with leadership to design and implement surveys and player labs that generate valuable, actionable feedback for improving experiences on PC and console platforms.Storytelling & Communication:
Leverage your storytelling skills to effectively communicate research findings to designers, producers, and engineers, ensuring that insights are clearly understood and applied.Collaborative Analysis:
Work closely with analysts and data scientists to create comprehensive, multi-modal analyses that integrate both qualitative and quantitative data.Insightful Recommendations:
Translate research findings into clear recommendations that drive product and design decisions, with a focus on player experience optimization.
Required Qualifications:Education:
BA or BS in
Social Sciences ,
Marketing , or a related discipline.Experience:
4+ years of experience in
user experience research ,
behavioral/cognitive research , or
market research , particularly in the
gaming industry .Research Expertise:
Professional experience designing and executing surveys and player lab studies.Gaming Experience:
Previous research experience specifically related to
PC
or
console games .
Desired Qualifications:Market Research:
Experience conducting market research or collaborating with
market research vendors .Product Design or Strategy:
Experience in
product design
or
business strategy
for consumer-facing products.Analytical Tools:
Advanced skills in analysis software such as
SPSS ,
R ,
Excel , or similar tools.
