Summary:The largest vendor of computer software is seeking a UX Researcher to join the Azure UX team and conduct iterative, evaluative customer research to inform product development. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including researchers, designers, and engineers, to gather actionable customer insights and drive product improvements. The ideal candidate will have experience in usability studies, qualitative research methods, and working with enterprise products to help shape the future of the Azure platform.
Responsibilities:Define and execute qualitative research methods such as field research, surveys, lab studies, remote testing, and A/B tests.Conduct independent research on various product aspects and experiences, delivering actionable findings to the team.Communicate, defend, and build consensus around research results and their impact on design.Document and present research recommendations, collaborating with design and engineering teams to address usability issues.

Qualifications:A minimum of a BA or MA/MS in Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.At least 2 years of experience conducting experimental research on software products and delivering outcomes to product teams.Experience running usability studies, interviews, and surveys; familiarity with the design process and how research integrates at each phase.Proven ability to collaborate across disciplines (design, engineering) to drive product changes and communicate research findings clearly to stakeholders.
