Job Overview

Under the direction of the Communications Manager, the Senior Specialist, Communications will research, draft and deliver well-crafted and on-brand content for a wide range of projects and initiatives across the department and company including various digital and traditional company platforms such as newsletters, letters, corporate website, intranet, as well as other corporate-wide communications. Responsible for developing and writing all forms of marketing copy and materials, with a particular focus on translating overall brand and communications strategy into compelling content. Serves as the liaison among department and internal and external business partners to lead communications planning sessions to fully understand the project goals. Project manage various monthly mailings for internal and external audiences.

Minimum Requirements

1. BA/BS degree or equivalent coupled with a minimum of 5 years' experience in journalism, communication, marketing or related field.

2. Health care copywriting experience is preferred. High level of interest, knowledge, and enthusiasm for the health care industry a plus.

3. Familiar with AP and Oxford Styles guides preferred.

4. Bilingual (English/Spanish) demonstrated skills in both verbal and written communications a plus.

5. Project management experience is a plus.

Compensation

$71,288.55 - $89,110.69 annually
