The Strategic Partnership Manager will sell dynamic advertising campaigns to Destination Marketing Organizations, and adjacent categories. The Partnership Manager pitches and solicits orders from clients and coordinates ad trafficking and reporting with an Ads Campaign Manager. This individual will work against a sales quota and can earn lucrative commission pay by scaling partnerships, and driving revenue to exceed their goals.. The Strategic Partnership Manager can sell mostly from home but will need to travel occasionally to client locations and/or conferences several times per quarter.

The Hopper Media Solutions team is responsible for building a suite of advertising products that allows travel advertisers to increase their bookings and allows Hopper to generate ad revenue. We work with Destination Management Organizations, Hotels, Airlines, and Airports, offering innovative products to promote their brand and win sales on Hopper and HTS Partners.
Our team includes everything from salespeople to software engineers, all focused on growing our revenue and delivering great results for our advertisers. We've turned this business line into a material profit driver for the company over the last year, and have ambitious plans to continue scaling our team and revenue.

$120,000 - $150,000 a year
The yearly base compensationfor this position ranges from 120 000$ to 150 000$ CAD. Base salary will be determined by candidates' relevant qualifications, knowledge, skills and work experience.
Total compensation will include a solid base salary and will also include quarterly performance bonus up to 150% of base salary (OTE), sign-on bonus and other potential incentives.

What would your day-to-day look like:
- Secure Media Commitments: Independently obtain media spend commitments from Destination Marketing Organizations.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients and agencies to enhance budgets.
- Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage the entire client acquisition process, from prospecting to closing deals.
- Sales Activity Tracking: Log all sales activities diligently in Salesforce for accurate reporting.
- Client Collaboration: Partner with a Hopper Campaign Manager to optimize client relationships and maximize media spend and campaign ROI.
- Results Presentation: Present campaign results using Hopper's analytical tools and GSuite products.
- Client Needs Assessment: Synthesize client feedback to recommend product enhancements that improve ROI and increase Hopper's gross profit.
An ideal candidate has:
- Proven Sales Experience: 5+ years in digital advertising sales, consistently closing $500K or more in business quarterly.
- Strategic Thinker: Strong critical thinking skills to create data-driven, targeted pitches for diverse sales prospects.
- Product Versatility: Proficient in pitching multiple products, including new and first-to-market opportunities.
- Sales Tracking Pro: Experience using professional CRM tools, such as Salesforce, to track and communicate sales results effectively.
- Data-Driven Approach: Ability to leverage data to enhance sales pitches and strategies.
- Remote Work Proficiency: Comfortable collaborating in a remote environment with a globally distributed team.
- Exceptional Communication: Strong presentation skills, written, and verbal communication skills to engage and influence stakeholders internally and externally.
- Customer-Centric Mindset: No ego; focused on doing what's best for customers and the company.
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree required.
- Willingness to Travel: Open to traveling for industry events and client meetings as needed.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in Destination Marketing Organizations, Travel, or Hospitality is a plus.
