The Role:
Roc Nation is looking for a Creative Project Manager who will be an integral member of the design team - helping to create elegant, innovative, and compelling work across various mediums. A key partner to the Creative and Marketing teams, the role is a critical part of our in-house Creative Team - a team responsible for the visual and design direction of the company's many touch points across digital, events, pitch materials, artist + athlete initiatives, and more.

New York City Pay Range*: $65,000 - $75,000

A key partner to the Creative and Marketing teams, the role is a critical part of our in-house Creative Team - a team responsible for the visual and design direction of the company's many touch points across digital, events, pitch materials, artist + athlete initiatives, and more.
Responsibilities:
- You will be acting as a central point between the Design team and cross functional departments ensuring projects are completed successfully, accurately, and within budget
- The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should thrive in collaborative environments, have strong communication skills, excellent written and presentation abilities, and deep knowledge of static & motion design workflows are essential
- Maintain and update design team tasks and deadlines, track project progress, and communication of status, while maintaining timelines for delivery
- Manage process for all campaigns, initiatives, digital strategies, and overall design needs, which includes the proofing process to ensure all stakeholders approve proofs prior to posting or production
- Manage process and oversee all design needs company-wide under strict deadlines and various mediums (motion, art direction, graphics, merch, pitch materials, videos, and more)
- Lead daily design team meetings assessing progress on ongoing, upcoming, and completed projects
- Lead weekly creative & marketing meetings to align with wider marketing leads on ongoing, upcoming, and completed projects
- Support team with all administrative needs, including daily correspondence, and scheduling of meetings for project brainstorm and delivery
- Manage and build vendor relationships, while being able to find new freelancers and vendors as needed
- Assign individual designer tasks and assignments in close collaboration with the Art Director
- Navigates the creative process independently AND collaboratively, negotiating successfully with other teams while being communicative, proactive, resourceful, professional, and flexible
- Maintains collaborative partnerships with supporting teams, including Creative, Brands Digital, Marketing and affiliated brands; fostering strong partnerships with teams
- The person in this role needs to be comfortable asserting a strategic and creative perspective that guides our creative process, project management, and client conversations to new and exciting places
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or BFA. Design (or related: Communications Design, Art Direction, etc.) degree or equivalent creative experience preferred
- 3 - 5 plus years of relevant experience as a creative producer, project manager, or studio manager with experience supporting design teams
- Strong interest in the entertainment industry
- Strong organizational skills while being proactive and taking initiative
- Experience forming strong team relationships and communicating cross functionality with multiple departments and teams
- Ability to independently and synthesize information concisely for stakeholders and designers
- Ability to synthesize research and disparate information into a cohesive plan, finding the through line across varying inputs
- Has experience creating / finding efficiency in design / production process
- Strong archiving skills, ability to create systems for efficiency archiving
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external communication
- Strong problem-solving skills with focus on developing and recommending solutions quickly and in a calm and clear manner
- Proficient in G-Suite and a project management system, Trello is preferred. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Pitch.com, and other creative suites is a plus
- Solid time management, organization skills, file management and excellent attention to detail and consistency
- Must be able to work autonomously and remain flexible to changing priorities; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to understand clients' marketing objectives and work closely with senior strategy team to develop plan to support these objectives
- Strategic thinker at the core with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Deep knowledge of all social media platforms and their perceived value audiences
- On top of the latest industry trends, breakthrough creative campaigns, and emerging technologies
