About the Role
We're seeking a design leader to drive the evolution of Ramp's core product suite, with a focus on Employee Experience and Travel. You'll work with and guide the personal and professional growth of a small team of extraordinary product designers across multiple pods. You'll partner directly with the design leadership team to refine our global design process to achieve the highest level of craft and execution consistently.
This is a role for a player/coach who can leverage other designers to craft a compelling vision that reaches across different products and verticals, and dive into the details to make it happen. The ideal candidate loves mentorship, craft, and can roll up their sleeves to support their team and unblock decisions when needed. You'll think equally about how to grow the designers on your team, the strategic direction of our product, and the process we use to design outstanding software quickly. You should possess excellent people skills, a genuine desire to help your team grow, a good eye for design, and the ability to identify and nurture good designers.
Please note that this role will require you to be comfortable with working in-person at our NYC HQ (located near Madison Square Park) at least 3 days/week.
