Explore OpportunitiesDesign CenterSan Antonio, TXDesign Center ConsultantSan Antonio, TXDesign Center ConsultantApply NowThe Job was shared succesfully!Share JobApply NowShare JobJob DescriptionDavid Weekley Homes is currently seeking an enthusiastic, customer service-oriented Design Consultant for our Design Center located in San Antonio.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Provide professional and enthusiastic customer service for customers calling and visiting the New Home Design CenterAssisting buyers with making selections to customize their home and pricing optionsEntering customer information/selections into computer systemPrepare decorator selection package that includes drawing detailsPrepare decorator selection packages for quick move-in homesMeet vendors to review new product offeringsCoordinate with Builders to confirm correct features, options and upgradesEducate the buyer and set realistic expectations regarding the design selection processMaintain design center samples and signagePrepare reports and maintain updated inventory and suppliesAdditional tasks as needed including scheduling appointments with home buyers/designers, answering phones, filing, organizing, interacting with internal and external customersQualificationsWorking knowledge of MS Office Suite, particularly Outlook and PowerPointExcellent customer service skillsAbility to deal with conflict and set expectationsEffective communication skills and a sense of urgencyDetail-oriented, self-disciplined and organized with excellent follow-upGreat listening skills and creative problem solving with the ability to find the root cause, as well as a solutionMust be a team player with an enthusiastic attitudeOperates with a high level of integritySolid time management skillsWillingness to learn and adaptAdditional Information.What We Offer:Come build your future with our winning team, recognized by Fortune Magazine as one of the "100 Best Companies to Work For" 18 times!
