Are you up for the dare?This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship.Position SummaryOur Manager of Product Design Engineering at Technical Application Group oversees a team of experienced professionals, guiding them in executing their assignments with a focus on implementing policies and strategic initiatives for product design. This role is essential for achieving short-term operational results and managing projects or programs that have a significant impact on the company's product offerings. The Manager will address difficult to moderately complex problems while influencing practices and procedures beyond their immediate job area.Buckle up, because you can expect to work on fast-paced, multi-functional teams focused on taking new products from conception to market. So, if your full potential could be unleashed, what would you add to the ‘mix’?Manage projects of significant size and complexity, ensuring that deliverables are met within established timelines and budgets, while providing measurable input into the development of new products and processes.Lead and manage a team of product design engineers, providing direction and support.Focus on the implementation of operational plans and policies that contribute to achieving team objectives, driving short-term results aligned with departmental goals.Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of team initiatives, providing feedback and adjustments as necessary to achieve operational objectives.Communicate effectively with multiple departments and external stakeholders, including customers and vendors, to ensure alignment and cooperation on product design practices and project execution.*Approximately 40% travel requiredRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Product Design or related field7+ years’ experience in product/process development (food) and scale-up3+ years of leadership experienceMust be willing and able to travel up to 40% of the timeThe approximate pay range for this position is $107,000 to $150,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
