Job Summary
The Marketing Communications Specialist will work within the Nortek DCC team and will have primary responsibility for marketing communications and internal communications. This role requires collaboration across various functions to develop, implement and execute marketing communications strategies. Additionally, the specialist will work closely with the Human Resources team to deliver a steady cadence of internal communications via a variety of channels. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and verbal communications skills, a solid understanding of digital channel management, and a collaborative work style to manage cross-functional relationships within a matrixed organization and with agency partners.

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic marketing communications plans with cross-functional partners; including products, services, and sales to support GTM strategies. Digital Channel Management: Manage the Nortek DCC website and social media channels to meet annual business objectives. Production Coordination: Coordinate the production of employee, customer, marketing and promotional communications internally and externally. Multi-channel Communication: Leverage available communication channels, including digital, print, social, and video, to reach key stakeholders and establish appropriate KPIs. Creative Management: Prepare creative briefs, select agency partners, initiate projects and effectively manage work direction for multiple vendor partners, including agencies and contractors. Liaise with sister companies and Madison Air corporate communications. Internal Communications: Work closely with HR on internal communications, town hall content, and leadership messaging. Budget Management: Understand the budget process and effectively manage costs associated with communications activities. Annual Communication Plans: Leverage analysis, analytics, and insights to develop comprehensive annual communication plans. Proactively suggest communication strategies and tactics that deliver against product/business objectives, measure KPIs, and enhance the Nortek DCC brand reputation and experience. Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, visual acumen, and tact to ensure all communications create impact and deliver against business objectives. Project Management: Utilize project management and negotiation skills to effectively oversee large, complex projects. Issues Management: Anticipate potential issues, proactively communicate, and develop plans to manage them effectively. Job Qualifications:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, marketing communications, English or a related field.
Experience:
2-5 years of marketing communications experience with B2B focus Technical communications experience is preferred
Technical Skills:
Strong writing skills and familiarity with technical language Experience in project-management including scope definition, budget, quality assurance, and timeline adherence. Previous experience working as a change-agent in a B2B business environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with strong PowerPoint skills. Knowledge of SEO and Google Analytics. Design capabilities or familiarity with design programs (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud) is a plus Marketing technology experience or marketing ops understanding. Digital marketing/website management (CMS, CRM, API etc.)
Professional Skills:
Self-starter with the ability to identify and accomplish tasks proactively. Effective communication skills in a matrixed organization.
Preferred:
Ability to lead others by influence and develop strong relationships across the organization (Sales, Marketing, Functional Partners) 5+ years of professional experience in B2B marketing communications and integrated promotional campaigns Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills balanced with vision and creativity Understanding of and familiarity with the data center industry Agency experience that demonstrates strong project management skills and ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
