JobSummary:
This position provides the visual interpretation of communications and marketing requests and produces them in the appropriate format whether it is digital, multimedia and/or print. This role combines art and technology to communicate ideas through images and the layout of digital and printed collateral. The individual will meet with clients and team members to understand and determine the most effective method and visuals for achieving communications and strategic goals and is responsible for creating the designs. Tasks include the creation of mock-ups/concepts in a PC (non-Mac) environment, photo/video editing, catalogs/spec sheets layout and editing, event collateral, PowerPoint presentations, booth graphics, packaging, and social media visuals. CPC uses multiple platforms to communicate with an audience including websites, corporate monitors, tradeshow banners, video, and email. The duties can change from day to day, so flexibility is a necessity.
EssentialJobResponsibilities:
• Create visual aspects of marketing materials, websites and other media• Collaborate on the creation and development of digital graphics for online channels• Create and package images for web, digital media and print using Adobe Creative Suite• Work within a team of Creative director, Marcomm managers, and Web designers establish designs to support campaigns• Design corporate monitor, presentation, social media and tradeshow/event graphics• Record, edit and produce video and animations for web, presentations and corporate monitors• Managing MarComm ticket requests from the organization• Collaborate on new marketing campaigns and suggest electronic and web-based components as appropriate• Adhere to the style & content guidelines for the CPC brand and website• Work with other creative agencies and vendors as needed• Create/edit PowerPoint presentations and agendas design• Design content and layout of CPC's SharePoint marketing pages as well as Spotlight features on SharePoint's home page• Prioritize and manage design requests while meeting deadlines• Brainstorm and offer creative solutions that meet business needs and follow good design practice• Logo and brand design for internal campaigns and communications• Adhere to all safety regulations and demonstrate support of CPC core values• Perform otherjobduties as assigned to meet business needs
RequiredJobQualifications:
• Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite - Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premier or equivalent video editing program• Strong photography and editing skills, including clipping paths, color correction, retouching and cropping. Understanding of the importance of resolution for digital and photographic media• Experience in video recording, editing, and production. (Will train on this)• Experience working in Microsoft Office Suite programs - PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Word• Organized with excellent attention to detail, the ideal candidate will be able to take a project from start to finish and thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities• Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written, with strong spelling and grammar understanding• Able to effectively manage multiple projects in a collaborative, cross-functional work environment• Demonstrated knowledge of graphic requirements for social media platforms and web ads
Required Education and/or Experience:
• 2-year degree or B.A. in Web Design/Graphic Arts or Design Technology, or equivalent• Proficiency with HTML and understanding of a CMS is a plus
