Responsibilities: Set up, support, consult and disassemble audio/visual equipment for university-approved events and facilities. Assist the technical director with managing technical aspects of sound during a recording, live performance or event with audio production. Produces audio balance and sound sources by mixing, overlaying and reinforcing quality sound for concerts, musical productions and recording sessions in a professionally equipped studio. Oversees video and slide projection for select productions and events. Work on these major productions will be scheduled in advance, although the engineer may also be brought in intermittently for equipment upkeep, consultation, and to fill-in for the technical director as needed. This position will require varied work weeks, days and hours, including work assignments during evenings, weekends and holidays.Minimum Requirements: A high school diploma or GED is required. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in an audio engineering or related field is preferred.Experience with Dante Networking, Yamaha QL series consoles, and/or Shure wireless systems is required.Proficiency with Crestron, Clear-com, and Avid ProTools-MTRX Studio is preferred.Application Deadline: Position will remain open until filled.To Apply: Please click the "Apply Now" link to apply for this position.
