About the Role
The Technical Writer position is a highly impactful role that supports all levels of the business by bridging the communication gap between engineering, operations, EUV Tech's customers, and business partners to create clear, concise, accurate, and visually engaging content.
Your Role
Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, data sheets, policies, forms, internal work instructions, and standard operating procedures, for both internal and external audiencesExperience in documenting mechanical and electrical systems, as well as user softwareCollaborate with SMEs, including engineers, technicians, and field service engineers, to gather information and understand technical concepts necessary to create and maintain these documents, ensure that documentation is accurate and up-to-dateWork alongside the technical communication team to create, update, and improve documentation and processesManage schedule and documentation project timelines in conjunction with product releases, updates, and shipmentsManage the documentation review process and incorporate feedbackInitiate and engage in documentation-related meetings, including but not limited to: kickoff meetings and document review discussionsUpdate and ensure all company documents and presentations adhere to company brand guidelines, style guides, and templatesEffectively communicate company initiatives, policies, and procedures cross-functionally between departments, SMEs, and stakeholdersAssist in the creation of video tutorials, infographics, and other visual aids to supplement written documentationQualifications (Required)
BA/BS degree in English, Communications, or a combination of education and industry experienceMinimum 2-3 years of experienceAbility to work well autonomously, as well as collaborativelyCustomer service mindsetStrong sense of design and attention to detailExceptional written and verbal skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsExperience using MadCap Flare, or other single-source authoring programProficient in MS Office Suite, Google Suite, and Adobe AcrobatKnowledge of tools for content editing, versioning, web content publishing, and offline (such as PDF) publishingExperience in procedural copywriting and communication, supporting both internal and external content needsMust be able to provide relevant work samplesQualifications (Bonus to Have)
Experience using Jira and/or ConfluenceKnowledge of SnagIt and/or CamtasiaExperience using MadCap Central, or other CMS toolBackground in marketing communications and creative copywritingExperience using Solidworks Composer, KeyShot, or a similar program for 2D/3D renderingsPosition Details
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000-$110,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and EUV Tech's location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the respective role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by the following factors: job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
