Job Description:Are you excited to build an amazing developer documentation experience?Firefly Services encompasses Generative AI APIs (e.g., Text2Image, GenExpand, Object Composite) as well as creative workflow APIs (e.g., Photoshop Remove Background, Lightroom AutoTone, InDesign Data Merge) designed to provide enterprise developers the ability to build highly scalable workflows for creative teams.
As a Technical Writer for Firefly Services, you will drive our documentation strategy, starting with the information architecture and extending to identifying the most crucial content. You will define documentation standards, process improvements and champion adoption. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring documentation is comprehensive, accurate, of high quality, and strategically aligned to meet the diverse needs of our developer community while reflecting our company's voice, tone and values.
One of your primary responsibilities will be the review of a wide range of technical content created by product service engineering and technical teams. This includes API References, onboarding materials like Quick Starts, and Tutorials and Guides. You will also be a partner in creating, editing and reviewing Code Samples and Project Templates with product teams. And you will work closely with our product and engineering teams to ensure that our documentation is optimized for search and discoverability, making it easy for our customers to find the information they need.You will be responsible for the documentation release process and content updates, ensuring all changes are made timely and efficiently. Additionally, you will handle pull requests from the community, keeping our documentation up-to-date and accurate.You will also have the opportunity to identify and operationalize documentation optimization areas using new technologies such as AI to help you scale. OpenAPI and related tools experience is a must.Experience with HTML/CSS/Markdown language.Experience with git and GitHub.Basic understanding of JavaScript and Web concepts, and able to test small snippets of code (e.g., cURL/Postman)Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting with teams from different areas, flexible to work with multiple time zones such as US, Europe, and IndiaEducation:
